The mere paper perceived as a canvas,
The writer, like an artist
Staring into nothingness, while the mind is at work
The creative buds, lighting up.

The writer picks his pen,
Like an artist holding his brush
Blotches the paper with ink,
Like paint splashing.

What pictures are to an artist,
So are words to a writer,
Medium, to convey their thoughts
With the aid of art.

What’s on the surface, might not be what it seems.
A deep blue sky in art and words
might be a deep thought
Or just a mere blue sky.
